NEW HERE?

We’re so glad you’ve decided to check out Anchor Church! You’ll find a list of commonly asked questions below. We hope you’ll join us soon.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

We meet at Evans Middle School: 4785 Hereford Farm Rd. Evans, GA 30809.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Turn in the front entrance of Evans Middle School, and pull straight ahead into our parking designated for first time guests. If you need handicap parking, please also pull straight ahead in the front loop of parking spots. For all other parking, fork right when you turn in to the school.

WHERE DO I GO?

Head to the front entrance of Evans Middle School and you will find some of our amazing welcome team volunteers there to greet you. They will direct you down the main hallway towards the main worship area.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

At Anchor Church, we want you to dress however you would normally dress. Please come as you are, we have no expectations for attire.

WHERE DO MY KIDS GO?

When you arrive at our main worship area, you will see signage and volunteers to direct you towards our Kids Check-in area. At check-in you will meet someone from our Anchor Kids Team, who will guide you through our quick and easy check in process. Your children will receive name badges with helpful info on them that will help our volunteers be able to care and minister to your kids well. As a parent, you will receive a secure code where only you can pick up your children at the end of our worship gathering. Your unique code will match your child’s code. After check in, you will be guided to your child’s ministry area: Anchor Littles (babies-preschool) and Anchor Kids (Kindergarten-5th).

WHAT’S A SUNDAY SERVICE LIKE?

Our Sunday services are intentionally designed to be 75 minutes each week. The goal and aim for the “feel” of our service is both an authentic and worshipful atmosphere. We want each person to hear from God, and meet Him right where they are in life. Anchor’s worship team will lead a variety of modern worship and hymns. We take special time for connecting with one another, giving our finances to God and the work of ministry, prayer for other churches in our area, and readings from the Bible. Each week you will hear dynamic, relatable preaching of God’s Word from one of our pastors, or a guest speaker from time to time. Our aim is that you would leave each week hearing the truth of God’s Word, and knowing His desire for you to anchor your life in Him.
